It is the purpose of this article to encourage such a study by proposing new arguments. In particular, we shall question the prevailing communis opinio, according to which Novels were published in 888, simultaneously with the Basilica. This dating of the Novels was first proposed by Andreas Schminck and supported by the analysis by thelate Marie Theres Fögen of its connection with the Basilica. Both articles were published in the same number of Subseciva Groningana some twenty years ago. [Texto extraído del artículo de Juan Signes Codoñer].
