Sincetheir appearance, all of them have been introduced in the corresponding educational curricula. Each one seeksto develop different knowledge, skills and attitudes in European citizens. Multilingual Competence andCompetence in Cultural awareness and expression are two of the key competences that are very present whenwe refer to the teaching of foreign languages. That is why their development is made possible throughdifferent activities and tasks that promote communication in languages. Thus, this Master's Thesis presentsa teaching proposal, which seeks to develop both key competences in students of Compulsory SecondaryEducation. It is planned to be implemented in a second Year English as a Foreign Language classroom for agroup belonging to the bilingual section. The work concludes with final reflections on the theoretical andpractical aspects dealt with.
