To do this, we must consider the variability of sociocultural courtesy from one culture to another, that is, we will consider the sociopragmatic. One of our objectives is that it can serve as a support for Arab learners of Spanish as a second language or a foreign language, although it may also be useful for Spanish students of Arabic. It is a cross-sectional study in that it relies on two groups of informants of different ages. This way it will be possible to check if there are substantial changes in the performance of the acts of asking and thanking among users of the same language. In other words, the act of asking and the act of thanking are universal acts that serve to maintain the harmony between speaker and listener. We will have the help of Arabic and Spanish informants. And once we know the different forms of behavior that guide the speech of the people of both communities, we intend to prevent errors and misunderstandings in communication. And to reinforce this objective, in the end we will show the conclusions and the results of the analysis of the questionnaires of the Spanish and Arab informants.
