Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación K1 Protocolo CAN K1 ESP12-F K1 ESP8266 AB This project presents the design of a communication protocol based on CAN with the aim of overcomingthe existing limitations in the transmission of large information, as well as providing Internetconnectivity to devices that lack it and that, in addition, only have a connection to a CAN bus. Thedeveloped protocol is responsible for managing the frames sent by both the client and the server, aswell as ensuring the cohesion of multiple frames in order to transmit information in a uni fied way. Inaddition, a prototype has been built that includes the necessary components to achieve the establishedobjectives, being the ESP12-F module with the ESP8266 microprocessor its main core.
