AB This work consists of the description of the lipid profile of different cellular systems, mainly macrophages, in which a key lipid metabolism enzyme, lipin-2, is not present. It has been studied using different techniques, mainly mass spectrometry, how the lack of lipin-2 affects the levels of the different classes of lipids in the cell, as well as the metabolic and functional biological consequences that may be affected, such as membrane fluidity. , cell viability, or phospholipid remodeling.
