AB This doctoral thesis brings together the scientific contributions related to three representative sites of the Douro Valley Archaeology, which have been the object of several research projects linked to the doctoral student: Termes (Montejo de Tiermes, Soria), Cauca (coca, Segovia) and Herrera de Pisuerga (Palencia).From an archaeological approach, both thematic research lines in charge of framing this work are the study of the material culture in some of their specific categories (pottery, Epigraphy, Numismatics, sculpture, metalwork, bone industry, building material, etc.) and urbanism evolution and development that singularize their respective habitat spaces, on the other hand, whether their civil or military nature as well as the domestic or monumental essence, with a chronological delimitation between the different stages of Hispanorromanity and Late Antiquity; a broad period that allows verifying the change and continuity processes in both subjects.
