AB Analysis of the administrative configuration of the administrative powers for banking supervision after the entrance into force of the Single Supervisory Mechanism and the Single Resolution Mechanism. Specifically, authorisation, inspection, corrective and sanctioning power attributed to the supervisory administrative bodies (European Central Bank, Bank of Spain, Single Resolution Board and Spanish Authority for Banking Resolution) are analysed in order to understand the main problems that their legal configuration shows and propose the necessary solutions to these problems. Moreover, the paper examines the legal nature of the called banking resolution power as corrective power included within the banking prudential supervision activity of public authorities.
