The article starts from a brief theo- retical framework around the origin and possible thematic classification of the comic, focusing exclusively on its educational uses. In this way, we try to show some examples of comics in the German language and their use in the classroom, developing some of the activities and functionalities that comics can contribute to the teaching of German. The last part of the work focuses on the use of two comics by the German cartoonist Isabel Kreitz and their possible use in the German language class and Landeskunde.
