These premises are especiallynoticeable in the teaching of industrial design and product development schools. This communication will test these issues and their practical application to theDesignWorkshop subject of the second year of this degree. The studywork consistsof the creation of a stand for a food company, so that it can be installed ephemerallyat a prestigious trade fair. The aim is to combine graphic designwith interior designto achieve a corporate image. An aspect in which special attention was paid by the teachers was the connectionthat the work in its process and result had to maintain with the professionalreality of future designers. For this reason, the company that was the object ofthe stand design was involved so that its marketing managers could attend thepresentations of the work. From here it was decided to hold a contest to rewardthe best proposals and the conditions were agreed with the students so that theirworks could be exhibited physically, on digital and dissemination networks, withthe condition that their authorship appeared.
