This research, rooted in the realm of historical and cultural analysiswithin the field of English philology, seeks to explore the enduring legacy of the Tudorfamily in English society. By closely examining their representation in cinematicproductions such as The Other Boleyn Girl (Justin Chadwick, 2008), Elizabeth, andElizabeth: The Golden Ag"(Shekhar Kapur, 1998 and 2007), along with the TV seriesThe Tudors (Michael Hirst, 2007-2010), this study aims to unravel the complex interplaybetween historical facts and fictionalized narratives. Focusing on the cultural andhistorical contexts depicted in these media portrayals, the research endeavors to uncoverthe ways in which the Tudor family's story has been constructed and transformed for 21stcenturyaudiences. By delving into the socio-cultural implications of theserepresentations, the study aims to shed light on the broader impact of the Tudor narrativeon contemporary perceptions of English history and identity. Utilizing films and series ascultural artefacts, this analysis acknowledges their influential role in disseminatinghistorical narratives to a global audience.
