With these newmethodologies, new resources such as authentic materials play an important role in English asa Foreign Language instruction. These materials, which reflect real-world situations, serve toimmerse students in meaningful language experiences and foster acquisition and fluency in theclassroom. This MA thesis aims to design an innovative, motivating didactic proposal whichintegrates authentic materials using a task-based learning approach. This proposal has as a goalto put students in a real life-like situation, to develop fluency through communication andinteractions between students, and to raise cultural awareness, introducing students to basicaspects of the United Kingdom through the design of a trip.
