And if something characterizes the city of Porto, it is its colours. Fromthe explosion of colour on the façades of its houses, to the blue reflection of itstiles, through the red of its roofs, the green of the moss that is accumulated on itsstones, to the black and white of the cobblestones that extend along its pedestrianpavements. The colours of its streets, the graffiti of its artists who paint everything fromwalls, to electricity boxes and facilities. Everything is colour. Colours that changewith the light of day and night, the light of the seasons, the reflection of the city inDouro’s waters and the influence of the fog and the humidity that comes from theAtlantic. Everything in Porto refers to water and light broken down into colours. Therefore, we represent Porto’s architecture with watercolour technique, usingthese same elements PB Springer, Cham SN ISBN de versión impresa 978-3-030-47982-4 YR 2020 FD 2020 LK https://uvadoc.uva.es/handle/10324/74384 UL https://uvadoc.uva.es/handle/10324/74384 LA eng NO Agustín-Hernández, L., Vallespín Muniesa, A., Fernández-Morales, A.
