In this study, a therapeutic exercise program combined with pain neuroscience education sessions was designed and implemented to evaluate its impact on women with endometriosis. To this end, a comparative study was conducted, in which participants were assigned to two groups: an intervention group that received pain neuroscience education sessions along with a therapeutic exercise program, and a control group that received lectures on healthy lifestyle habits. The results show that the intervention based on pain education and therapeutic exercise produced significant improvements in pain reduction, overall quality of life, and quality of life associated with the menstrual cycle compared to the control group. These improvements also led to reductions in kinesiophobia and catastrophizing scores, along with increases in abdominal wall muscle thickness, suggesting an optimization of neuromuscular function in this population. These findings reinforce the importance of combining pain education and therapeutic exercise as an effective, non-pharmacological strategy for the treatment of endometriosis, providing a viable alternative for improving the well-being of patients with endometriosis.
