Unlike traditional games, they usually have clear and defined objectives, and are usuallybased on real or simulated situations. This concept was coined by the Doctor Clark C. Abt [1] in 1970, who proposed that games andsimulations could help in decision making in industry, government institutions, education or personal relationships. Nowadays the validity and relevance of serious games as a learning, training or support toolis undeniable. Among the main benefits of serious games we can highlight that they promote learning [2].The use of this kind of games to help learning has many benefits such as bringing the teacher closerto the student or learning the concepts of the subject in a more dynamic and fun way for the student andthus make easier the learning of the subject and making the student feel more motivated and interestedin the subject. In this project the effect that these kind of games have on student performance will be analyzed.
