AB The academic work analyzes the importance of learning English in the police fieldhighlighting the use of film as a didactic and innovative resource. Grammatical structures andspecific vocabulary present in selected films of criminological and legal relevance are studiedand analyzed, with the aim of applying them to police work in real life. Film is presented asan effective educational resource to improve language comprehension due to its audiovisualcharacter. It offers a realistic representation os profesional contexts, be it interrogations, trialsor police procedures. This study proposes practical methods for integrating English intopolice training with the main objective os improving police language profiency in aprofesional and realistic manner. In a globalized world, proficiency in English becaomes anessential tool for international cooperation and effectiveness in the fight against transnationalcrime.
