However, the impact of these programs on student academic performanceremains controversial. This final degree project aims to analyze how bilingual educationaffects both subject comprehension and language learning. For that purpose, a survey wasgiven to students to assess different key areas: linguistic competence, contentcomprehension, and level of satisfaction with the bilingual system. The results reveal that,although bilingual education improves English skills and intercultural awareness, it alsoregister challenges, especially for those with lower language. In addition, teacher trainingand the socioeconomic context influence its effectiveness. The study concludes thatbilingual education has great potential, whenever it is implemented with equity andmethodological support.
