A didactic unit is designed and implemented basedon CEFR descriptors adapted to professional contexts where mediation strategies arerequired. The study evaluates how these activities foster meaningful learning at this levelby increasing student motivation and participation while developing linguisticcompetences. A mixed-method approach is used to assess the tasks, combining teacherobservation, student self-assessment, and evaluable tasks. The findings show thatmediation activities enhance communicative competences and promote the use of thesecond language in authentic contexts.
