Through eight sessions, it aims to foster narrative learning, critical intercultural reflection, and an approach to the cultures of Native American peoples within the English as a Foreign Language classroom. Students will engage in the unit by embodying the role of tribal members, such as the Sioux or the Mohawk. They will be exposed to dynamics that promote communicative competence, empathy, and social awareness, while working with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Aligned with the national curriculum and current legislation, this proposal seeks not only to facilitate language acquisition, but also to transform the classroom into a space for cultural visibility, critical thinking, and ethical learning.
