This master's thesis presents how music and co-education can be very effective tools in preventing gender violence in secondary school classrooms. In order for students to be able to identify sexist attitudes and situations, while developing their critical thinking and empathy, a didactic unit based on music and co-education is created. Part of this didactic unit, composed entirely of seven sessions, was put into practice in two bilingual groups in the second year of ESO. Through an observation of the responses of these two classes in the implementation, a positive impact on empathy and critical thinking was obtained, thanks to which gender equality and coeducation could be promoted in the classroom.
