It offers a reflection on why, for what purpose, and how universities manage internationalisation processes, emphasizing the need for coherent and well-defined strategies.Within the framework of the twinning project with Algerian universities, the chapter proposes key elements for the management of internationalisation in higher education, highlighting institutional cooperation as a means of mutual enrichment and of fostering international and intercultural competences essential for the education of responsible global citizens.
