We often interact and relate to others via technologicalplatforms in which we exchange data. In this sense, technology has become our environment(Valera, 2020), one in which we are inserted at every moment – in most cases independentlyof our decisions – and which constantly surrounds us.Clearly, such dwelling in technological environments has generated some ethical and legal concerns,to the extent that interactions between people have become more persistent and closer(Valera, 2021). If we also consider that technologies can affect or impact us from within, modifyingus from our very organic constitution, other ethical and legal concerns emerge. This is the casewith cognitive enhancement (CE), whereby we can intervene (through digital technologies ordrugs) with our brain to enhance some cognitive faculties. A large body of international scientificliterature has recently developed around this topic, both at the ethical and legal levels PB Routledge YR 2023 FD 2023 LK https://uvadoc.uva.es/handle/10324/82660 UL https://uvadoc.uva.es/handle/10324/82660 LA eng NO Valera, L., Bellver, V.
