In this chapter, I will start by reporting some significant examples of technologies designed to generate new creative and therapeutic spaces that use the user’s movements, such as CARE HERE, e-mocomu and Sentire, and I will then describe the design prototyping of BehCreative. At the basis of these technologies are a few common features, including a sense of control, a multimodal design, and sensor-free performative movement. I will also address music therapy and rehabilitation, empowerment and Creative Empowerment based on the embodied cognition paradigm—a concept already present in the research of other authors yet never studied in depth or connected with Extended Digital Musical Instruments (EDMIs).
