AB The various models of translation units and units of translation analysis presented in the past did not take into account that translation is an activity that transcends the boundaries of traditional grammar, so that those units were not operative. Our empirico-descriptive conception of Comparative Stylistics, leads us to present a model of a unit of tranlation and analysis that is double -on the one hand the text is the communication unit and on the other the fragment is the processing unit
