AB With this work it is intended, by way of introduction, to tackle some of the factors that will determine the romanisation process of the geographic area corresponding to what is today the province of Ciudad Real, how it would form the lines of communication that would allow the entry of roman cultural forms. The main and different town centres are also considered, which are evidenced in this area, some of which would attain status of municipium, also helping to foster the romanisation of this territorial area of the south Meseta.
