AB In spite of the scarces documents with character juridical-legislative about the publics roads in the Later Roman Empire, can be affirmed that in this time the question would show similar characteristics to previous ages. In Hispania's case is observed a progressive deterioration in their maintenance and a greater unsecurity in the ways, and both tendencies endure in the Visigothic Kingdom of Toledo.
