The aim is to analyse the activity of the class of 1915 at the School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving of Madrid, both from a professional and human point of view. The relationship of students among themselves, as well as with their most outstanding teachers, is taken into account, specially with Joaquín Valverde, Timoteo, Pérez Rubio, and Gregorio Prieto. All of this is studied from the perspective of the discussion between Tradition and Modernity.
Se analiza la actividad de la promoción de 1915 de la Escuela Especial de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado de Madrid, tanto desde el punto de vista profesional como humano. Se ha tenido en cuenta la relación de los estudiantes entre sí y la de éstos con sus profesores más destacados. Se incide especialmente en los artistas más sobresalientes de esta promoción: Joaquín Valverde, Timoteo Pérez Rubio y Gregorio Prieto. Todo ello se aborda desde la perspectiva del debate entre Tradición y Modernidad.
