Las colecciones de entremeses en el Barroco español

Abstract

Este artículo estudia el vehículo más importante de transmisión escrita de los entremeses barrocos: las colecciones. Estas obras se publicaron desde 1640 y con frecuencia hasta, aproximadamente, cien años después, y cada vez con mayor perfección, aunque su verdadero auge fue en el siglo XVII. Conservan textos desconocidos, reflejan gustos de época y sirvieron para afianzar el teatro breve. Al final nos centramos en describir sus principales características.

This article examines the most important vehicle of interlude's written transmission in Baroque: the collections. These works were published since 1640 until about one hundred years later, increasing perfection, although its real boom was in the seventeenth century. They conserved unknown texts, reflect period testes and served to strengthen the brief theatre. At the end we focus on describing their main characteristics.
