¿Resulta necesaria una “pedagogía de los medios”?

Abstract

Este trabajo aborda la cuestión de, si resulta necesario que exista una “pedagogía de los medios”, identificando las necesidades de los jóvenes ante un sentimiento crítico. Después de analizar algunas teorías, otras propuestas ya existentes y realizar finalmente una investigación se dará respuesta a si dicha necesidad existe o no. Detectar si existe dicha necesidad, dará pie a que en el futuro no muy lejano se pueda educar para los medios de comunicación, conectándolas con la realidad de los jóvenes y la sociedad en la que viven.

This work addresses the question whether it results necessary the existence of a "media pedagogy", identifying the young people's needs related to the critical sense. After analyzing some theories, other existing proposals and, finally, carrying out an investigation, it will be found the answer to whether the need exists or not. Detecting whether the necessity exists, will involve a media education in a not far future, connecting with the young people's actual situation and the society in which they live.
