La educación emocional en un aula de Educación Infantil aplicada en un contexto bilingüe.

Abstract

Ya desde el siglo XX se comienza a valorar y reconocer el lugar que las emociones tienen dentro del aula, especialmente en la etapa de Educación Infantil. En esta etapa los niños están totalmente dominados por sus emociones y necesitan aprender a reconocerlas, expresarlas y asimilarlas si se quiere conseguir el desarrollo integral del niño. Por este motivo, cuando se trabaja con alumnos de esta etapa, se debe tener en cuenta su inteligencia emocional de igual manera que se tiene en cuenta su desarrollo cognitivo y motórico, ya que cada alumno vivirá diferentes situaciones en su ámbito personal, al igual que cada uno presentará un nivel de desarrollo diferente. Los niños pueden presentar carencias en estos ámbitos, y en cualquiera de los casos es necesario un refuerzo para que el alumno desarrolle sus habilidades tanto cognitivas como emocionales. El programa que se presenta tiene como finalidad reforzar las habilidades emocionales en un grupo de alumnos de tres años dentro de un contexto bilingüe.

Since the twentieth century, the place that emotions had in the classroom became valued and recognized, especially in the Early Childhood Stage. At this stage children are totally dominated by their emotions and they need to learn how to recognize, express and assimilate them if the comprehensive development of the child wants to be achieved. Therefore, working with students of this stage should be considered their emotional intelligence as well as their cognitive and motor functions development due to the fact that each student lives different personal situations and presents different levels of development. Children may have scarcities in any of these ways, thus reinforcement for pupils to develop their cognitive and emotional skills, is necessary. The programme developed is intended to strengthen the emotional skills of students in a group of three years old in a bilingual context.
