Abstract

Una actuación de importancia en el ámbito de las relaciones exteriores, marcadas en la época por lo que se llamó "política de prestigio", fue la firma, en 1859, de un Convenio Adicional al Concordato de 1851 entre el Gobierno español y la Santa Sede.

The signing, in 1859, of an Additional Agreement to the Concordat of 1851 between the Spanish Government and the Holy Sea was an important act in the sphere of foreign affairs, marked at the time by what was called "politics of prestige".
