Los memoriales del Catastro de Ensenada y los inventarios post-mortem, recopilados para esos mismos vecinos concretos, han sido las fuentes documentales esenciales. Ambos yacimientos de información se yuxtaponen, imbrican y retroalimentan mutuamente. Este trabajo, sobre Burgos a mediados del siglo XVIII, ha reconstruido las dimensiones del hogar, tanto en lo que se refiere a la estructura y tamaño de los grupos domésticos como a la superficie sobre la que desarrollaban sus particulares existencias. Con el Catastro accedemos a sus niveles de ingresos y gastos y a los metros cuadrados de sus moradas. Con los post-mortem rellenamos una gran carencia de la declaración catastral ¿ como no podía ser de otra manera ¿: La tramoya de la existencia cotidiana en los domicilios.
The ¿Catastro de Ensenada¿ memorandum books and the ¿post mortem¿ inventories, compiled for those specific neighbours, have been the main documentary sources. Both information deposits yuxtapose, imbricate and feedback each other. This project about Burgos in the middle of eighteenth century has rebuilt the home dimensions, both referred to the structure and size of the domestic groups and to the area where they developed their particular lives. With the ¿Catastro¿ we can accede to the levels of their income and expenses and true size of their homes. A great lack of the ¿Catastro¿ declaration can be completed with the ¿post mortem¿ ¿ as it is obvious ¿: The stage machinery of the everyday living in Burgos homes.
