En este trabajo se ha analizado la herencia y la transmisión del patrimonio en la comunidad mercantil y la oligarquía local en la villa de Albacete a finales del Antiguo Régimen. Para conseguir esta comparativa se han examinado 110 testamentos cuya información se ha cruzado con las trayectorias sociales que estas familias protagonizaron. Con esta comparativa se ha pretendido analizar las estrategias de movilidad y reproducción social en un periodo clave. Para conseguir este propósito se han estudiado quiénes eran los herederos, quiénes recibían las mejoras testamentarias y cómo influyeron estas cuestiones en las trayectorias familiares.
In this essay we have analyzed the inheritance and the transmission of the patrimony in the merchant community and the local oligarchy in the town of Albacete at the end of the Old Regime. In order to obtain this comparative one 110 testaments have been examined whose information has been crossed with the social trajectories that these families carried out. With this comparative one it has been tried to analyze the strategies of mobility and social reproduction in a key period. In order to obtain this intention we have studied who were the heirs, who received the testamentary improvements and how they influenced these questions in the familiar trajectories.
