El estudio de la evolución de los señoríos murcianos en la edad moderna se ha de hacer, tras los trabajos de los años 1983-1998, desde otra perspectiva, la de los señores como colectivo y la inserción de su desenvolvimiento en el marco del avance de las oligarquías en los gobiernos locales. En este sentido, se puede concluir una derivación hacia un mayor dominio social, según se desprende de los pleitos antiseñoriales.
The study of the evolution of the states in Murcia during the modem age has to be considered from another perspective, after the 1983-1998 work; that is, of the nobles as a collective, and the insertion of their development in the context of the advance of the oligarchies in local government. In this context, a derivation towards a more social power can be inferred according to what is implied by lawsuits taken against the nobility.
