Destrezas de pensamiento a través del diseño de mediadores de aprendizaje

Abstract

Esta presentación tiene como objetivo resaltar la importancia que tiene la inclusión de estrategias para desarrollar habilidades de pensamiento en el aula. La capacidad de pensar es inherente al ser humano y por tanto susceptible de nutrirse, cultivarse y perfeccionarse a lo largo de la vida. Ahora más que nunca la sociedad demanda formar ciudadanas y ciudadanos que sean, críticos, autónomos, personas capaces de tomar decisiones acertadas en cualquier tipo de situaciones. Para contribuir a lograr esto, es necesario enseñar a pensar, a aprender a aprender, a desarrollar el pensamiento crítico, fomentando a la vez la autonomía del alumnado en los distintos niveles educativos. En este trabajo se analizan los principios generales que guían el diseño de un programa conducente al desarrollo de estrategias de pensamiento, dentro de la competencia básica: Aprender a aprender. El eje central, por tanto, está en el estudio de las principales características asociadas a las habilidades de pensamiento así como una propuesta de su desarrollo en el alumnado durante el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje.

This presentation aims to highlight the importance of the inclusion of strategies to develop thinking skills in the classroom. The ability to think is inherent to the human being and is therefore susceptible to nurtured and cultivated and perfected throughout life. Now more than ever any society demands form citizens who are creative, critical, autonomous, with initiative, people able to make sound decisions in any type of situation. To help its achievements is necessary to provide children with the ability to think, being learning to learn the central key competence. If our aims focus on the development of critical and creative thinking, we should, at the same time promote pupils autonomy at different levels. The present paper centers its study on the General principles which lead to developing thinking skills, as well as the design of the program associated to its main features and techniques used and how to develop them through the learning-teaching process.
