The provincial representatives who owe them their seat be come their most devoted associates hoping to consolidate a political career that later on may take them to the Cortes of' the Senado. Their relationship with the members of the local parliament is closed. They receive instructions and support from them and they also rely on them to obtain their demands from power and to present their claims, among which stands out "the defense of the authentic interests of Castilla", that is to say, the protectionism at any price of agriculture.
