    Résumé
This study presents designing theoretical proposal using concept maps to enhance learning of geometrical transformations. It focuses on the use of concept mapping approach as a tool in the student-centered classroom. Its main objective is to lessen the level of problems that both teachers and students of mathematics experience in terms of lesson delivery and understanding. The study proposed the concrete way of teaching and learning of geometrical transformations to provide a guide to both teachers and students of mathematics. This research identified geometrical transformations as a difficulty topic for students. The problems students encounter have been explained. The study has suggested that the concept mapping approach is an effective tool for learning and teaching of geometrical transformations.
