In this article unpublished letters exchanged between the Duke of Villahermosa and who will become Cardinal Granvela are shown. These letters contribute to a better understanding of the artistic relations and collecting activities between Flanders and Spain during the second half of the 16th century.Flemish sculptures such as Jonghelinck and painters like Frans Floris, are mentioned in this personal correspondence. In addition a portraitist at the service of the Duke that could well be a young Roland de Mois is mentioned as well.
Se presentan y estudian algunas cartas inéditas intercambiadas entre el duque de Villahermosa y el futuro cardenal Granvela que contribuyen a conocer mejor las relaciones artísticas y el coleccionismo entre Flandes y España en la segunda mitad del siglo XVI.En esta correspondencia se menciona a escultores como los flamencos Jonghelinck y a pintores como Frans Floris o un retratista al servicio del duque que podría ser un joven Roland de Mois.
