La empatía hacia los animales como estrategia educativa intercultural en Educación Infantil

Abstract

Nuestro Trabajo Final de Grado tiene como principal objetivo el generar actitudes de respeto y de empatía en el alumnado de Educación Infantil hacia los animales, intentando reconocer y eliminar cualquier tipo de actitudes violentas. Para ello vamos a llevar a cabo una intervención en el aula a través de una Unidad Didáctica, que se complementará con un modelo de inicio a la investigación. Partiremos de una síntesis teórica que defina la evolución de los derechos de los animales, así como el marco jurídico actual que regula las leyes en nuestro país. De igual manera, se tendrá en cuenta también qué asociaciones luchan por estos derechos y la normativa que las regula, con el fin de articular los conocimientos previos que sustentan los pilares de una posterior intervención educativa. Intervención que lamentablemente no ha podido realizarse como consecuencia de la situación provocada por el COVID 19. A pesar de todo, sí hemos desarrollado la Unidad Didáctica atendiendo a los parámetros que conocíamos previamente y que, sin duda, llevaremos realmente a la práctica cuando la situación sanitaria nos permita volver a las aulas.

Our Final Degree Project has as main objectiveis to generate attitudes of respect and empathy in Early Childhood students towards animals, trying to recognize and eliminate any type of violent attitudes. For this we are going to carry out an intervention in the classroom through a Didactic Unit, which will be complemented by a model for starting the investigation. We will start from a theoretical synthesis that defines the evolution of animal rights as well as the current legal framework that regulates the laws in our country. In the same way, it will also be taken into account which associations fight for these rights and the regulations that regulate them, in order to articulate the prior knowledge that supports the pillars of a subsequent educational intervention. Intervention that unfortunately could not be carried out as a consequence of the situation caused by COVID 19. Despite everything, we have developed the Didactic Unit taking into account the parameters that we previously knew and that, without a doubt, we will really put into practice when the situation allow us to return to the classrooms.
