La Educación Infantil en la comunidad gitana española

Abstract

El presente Trabajo Fin de Grado plantea la evolución y situación del pueblo gitano dentro del sistema educativo español y analiza las políticas educativas españolas para determinar su eficacia y lograr la inclusión educativa de la comunidad gitana. La Educación Infantil es la etapa en la que se asientan los cimientos de la educación. Además, la escolarización en dicha etapa proporciona mejores resultados académicos a medio y largo plazo y previene la exclusión social, por lo que se pone especial énfasis en analizar si las políticas educativas españolas ponen su foco de actuación en este periodo. Como conclusión, se apunta a que estas políticas educativas implantadas en nuestro país han sido en el pasado y siguen siendo en el presente insuficientes.

This final thesis presents the evolution and situation of the gypsy population inside the Spanish education’s system and analyze the Spanish education’s policies to determine its efficiency and achieve the educative inclusion of the gypsy population. Preschool is the stage in which the foundations of education are settled. Furthermore, the schooling in this stage produces better academic results in the medium and long term and prevents social exclusion, which is why there is a special emphasis in analyzing if the Spanish education policies put their focus of action in this period. In conclusion, it is pointed out that these educational policies implemented in our country have been in the past and continue to be currently ineffective and insufficient.
