Educación afectivo-sexual en personas con discapacidad intelectual

Abstract

La educación afectivo-sexual en las personas con discapacidad intelectual continúa siendo un tema tabú en pleno siglo XXI, ya que todavía existen mitos y prejuicios que obstaculizan su desarrollo y la plena inclusión de estas personas en la sociedad. El objetivo principal del TFG, tratará de reflejar las necesidades afectivo-sexuales de la discapacidad intelectual, utilizando el método biográfico-profesional, para incluir a estos alumnos, bajo los principios de normalización e integración. Por consiguiente, es imprescindible elaborar una propuesta de intervención educativa en este ámbito, para lograr el desarrollo integral de las personas con Discapacidad en un centro de Educación Especial, demostrando que sus necesidades son las mismas que las de cualquier otra persona.

Affective-sexual education in people with Intellectual disability continues to be an issue in 21st century, because of the myths and prejudices that block their development and full inclusión of this people in the society. The main purpose of this work will be tried to explain the affective-sexual needs of intellectual disability, using the biography- proffesional model, to include these people besides the principles of integration and inclusion. For this reason, it’s important to create a programme of intervention on this field, to achieve the full development of people with disabilities in a Special Education School, showing that it’s important that the needs of these people are as important as other human being.
