Déjale el silbato a un hombre: discriminación en el arbitraje de balonmano

Abstract

Este trabajo pretende analizar y demostrar la actual discriminación de la mujer árbitro en el mundo del balonmano mediante la discriminación vivida en primera persona de una mujer árbitro de balonmano, con dos años de experiencia y para demostrarlo también se llevará a cabo la creación de un cuestionario “Cuestionario para Árbitros de Balonmano” para estudiar esta población. La muestra está compuesta por mujeres y hombres árbitros de balonmano de Castilla y León de las diferentes categorías arbitrales. Los resultados pretenden mostrar junto con la discriminación vivida en primera persona de la árbitro, que las mujeres siguen viviendo una gran desigualdad en el mundo del arbitraje de un deporte colectivo y que, aunque permitan a la mujer acceder a este mundo, indirectamente sigue habiendo muchos obstáculos y estando muy masculinizado.

In this work we try to analize and demonstrate the current discrimination against the female referee in the world of handball. Through the discrimination experienced in first person of a female handball referee, with two years of experience and to demonstrate this, the creation of a questionnaire “Questionnaire for Hanball Referees” this will also be carried out for this population. The simple is made up of both genders of handball referees from Castilla y León from the different referee categories. The results intend to show, together with the discrimination experienced in first person of the female referee, that women still suffers from this problem in the world of refereeing in handball and that, although they allow women to enter this world, indirectly there are still many obstacles and being very masculinized.
