La integración del alumnado inmigrante a través de la clase de Educación Física

Abstract

Vivimos en un país multicultural donde cada año llegan familias provenientes de todas las partes del mundo, cuyo trasfondo cultural suele ser completamente diferente al nuestro. Esta realidad social se refleja en las aulas, donde podemos encontrar multitud de alumnos inmigrantes formando parte de la comunidad educativa. Sin embargo, este hecho no está exento de problemas y en ocasiones estos alumnos tienen dificultades para integrarse y establecer relaciones interpersonales con sus compañeros. Analizaremos cómo podemos contribuir a la integración de estos alumnos a través de las oportunidades que nos ofrece la clase de Educación Física, para lo cual elaboraremos una propuesta de intervención con la que pretendemos ayudar a una alumna que está encontrando dificultades para integrarse en el grupo.

We live in a multicultural country where families from all over the world come every year, whose cultural background is often completely different from ours. This social reality is shown in the classrooms, where we can find plenty of immigrant students being part of the educational community. However this fact is not without problems and sometimes these students have trouble with integration and building interpersonal relationships with their classmates. We will analyze how we can contribute to the integration of these students using the opportunities that arise in the Physical Education class and we will elaborate an intervention proposal for a specific classroom in which we pretend to help a student who is finding it difficult to become integrated as part of the class.
