Análisis de la coeducación en Educación Primaria en el área de educación física

Abstract

El presente documento pretende abordar cuál es la situación actual de la coeducación en el sistema educativo, centrándonos en el ámbito de la Educación Física y el deporte. Para ello hemos iniciado una investigación en profundidad para conocer el concepto de coeducación, investigar sobre la evolución que ha sufrido la mujer respecto al deporte desde una perspectiva histórica, así como la problemática de género en las clases de EF que siguen existiendo hoy en día, también podemos encontrar estrategias para promover la coeducación en la EF y conocer experiencias e investigaciones coeducativas que nos sirven de referencia en el área de la EF. Una vez que teníamos esta base, nos planteamos cómo se podía llegar a una coeducación real si no sabíamos qué conocimientos tenían las personas que se supone que forman a las futuras generaciones en valores igualitarios que ofrezcan las mismas oportunidades a ambos sexos, por eso quisimos iniciar una metodología cualitativa utilizando la entrevista semiestructurada. Gracias a esto pudimos ver, que a pesar de la evolución que ha tenido la sociedad, nos queda todavía mucho camino que recorrer para conseguir una igualdad real que ofrezca las mismas oportunidades de aprendizaje y metas en la vida a ambos sexos por igual para conseguir un desarrollo completo y satisfactorio, y que elimine el pasado androcéntrico, así como los estereotipos y prejuicios impuestos.

This document aims to address the current situation of coeducation in the education system, focusing on the field of Physical Education and sport. To do so, we have started an in-depth investigation to find out about the concept of coeducation, to investigate the evolution of women in sport from a historical perspective, as well as the gender problems in PE classes that still exist today, to find strategies to promote coeducation in PE and to learn about experiences and coeducational research that serve as a reference in the area of PE. Once we had this basis, we wondered how we could achieve real coeducation if we did not know what knowledge the people who are supposed to train future generations in egalitarian values that offer the same opportunities to both sexes had, so we wanted to initiate a qualitative methodology using the semi-structured interview. Thanks to this we could see that, despite the evolution that society has undergone, we still have a long way to go to achieve real equality that offers the same learning opportunities and goals in life to both sexes equally in order to achieve a complete and satisfactory development, and that eliminates the androcentric past, as well as the stereotypes and prejudices imposed.
