La aplicación de la literatura infantil en las aulas. Unidad didáctica a partir del libro Wangari y los árboles de la paz de Jeanette Winter

Abstract

Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado sitúa a la literatura infantil como herramienta esencial para la educación temprana de niños y niñas en sus años de Educación Infantil. En él se muestra el cuento como instrumento didáctico y estimulante en la comprensión del entorno del alumnado. Para ello, parte de un recorrido por la historia de la literatura infantil y su influencia en la enseñanza a lo largo de la educación reciente. Y se pretende transmitir los valores de respeto y preocupación por el medioambiente al alumnado a través de la creación de una unidad didáctica construida a partir del libro Wangari y los árboles de la paz de la autora Jeannette Winter.

This Bachelor’s Degree Paper places children’s literature as an essential tool for the early education of boys and girls in their years of Early Childhood Education. It shows the story as a didactic and stimulating tool in the understanding of the student environment. To this end, it is part of a journey through the history of children’s literature and its influence on teaching throughout recent education. The aim is to transmit the values of respect and concern for the environment to students through the creation of a teaching unit built on the book Wangari and the trees of peace by author Jeannette Winter.
