Numicon y el aprendizaje matemático

Abstract

El objetivo principal del trabajo Fin de Grado (TFG) es mostrar el uso que podemos hacer en las aulas de un recurso didáctico llamado Numicon. El nacimiento de este recurso comienza en Reino Unido y se trata de enseñar contenidos tanto teóricos como prácticos de la asignatura de matemáticas a los alumnos, de los primeros niveles a través del juego. Para llevar a cabo este objetivo, nos centraremos en explicar el funcionamiento del Numicon, así como de realizar una propuesta con este recurso didáctico. En España este recurso ya se está probando en bastantes centros educativos de Educación Infantil y Primaria, y está dirigido para que los niños comprendan la idea de número y las relaciones que se forman con ellos.

The main objective of The Final Degree Project (TFG) is to show a perspective of a new didactic resource called Numicon. The birth of this methodology begins in the United Kingdom, and it is about teaching both theorical and practical contents of the subject of mathematics to students, from the first levels though the game. To carry out this objective, we will focus on explaining the operation of the Numicon, as well as making a proposal with this didactic resource. In Spain this resource is already being tested in many educational centers for Early Childhood and Primary Education, and it is directed so that children understand the idea of number and the relationships that are formed with them.
