Estudio y propuesta de intervención en las naves ganaderas de la provincia de Segovia

Abstract

Se presenta un trabajo de investigación sobre una tipología arquitectónica olvidada y abandonada de la provincia de Segovia. Esta tipología se denomina como “naves ganaderas/agrícolas” y son estructuras que sirven para resguardar materiales y animales de las inclemencias del tiempo. Es una edificación que no solo existe en la provincia de Segovia, sino en todo el territorio español. Actualmente se encuentran en un proceso de abandono y destrucción. El objetivo de este trabajo es realizar una investigación de estas “naves” en la provincia de Segovia, España, para conocer con que nos encontramos y cuál es su estado. Posteriormente se realizará un trabajo de intervención con el cual se pretende convertir estas edificaciones en viviendas, escuelas, hosteles…, es decir, en estructuras habitables. Se estudiará diferentes sistemas constructivos, teniendo en cuenta factores como la sostenibilidad y el confort interior. Por último, se aplicará estos dos estudios, el formal y el constructivo, en un caso conocido con el objetivo de convertir una “nave” en un vivienda. Ya no solo por usar todas las herramientas que previamente se han explicado, también para conocer el como se diseña una vivienda: desde el análisis de la zona hasta la propuesta arquitectónica.

A research work on a forgotten and abandoned architectural typology in the province of Segovia is presented. This typology is called livestock / agricultural “naves” and they are structures that serve to protect materials and animals from the weather. It is a building that not only exists in the province of Segovia, but in the entire Spanish territory. They are currently in a process of abandonment and destruction. The objective of this work is to carry out an investigation of these "nave" in the province of Segovia, Spain, to know what we are and what their status is. Later on, an intervention will be carried out with the intention of converting these buildings into homes, schools, shelters ..., that is, into habitable structures. Different construction systems will be studied, taking into account factors such as sustainability and interior comfort. Finally, these two studies, the formal and the constructive, will be applied in a concrete example with the aim of converting a "nave" into a home. Not only for using all the tools that have been explained above, but also for knowing how a home is designed: from the analysis of the area to the architectural proposal.
