La mujer casada en la Atenas Clásica: de la realidad social a la ficción escénica

Abstract

En este trabajo se recoge la vida de la mujer ateniense de época clásica en el marco matrimonial desde dos perspectivas complementarias: la histórica y la teatral. El fin es observar cómo los dramaturgos representan a las mujeres en escena, qué perspectivas ofrecen sobre la vida de las casadas y si estas se corresponden con su realidad social.

This work summarizes the life of (the average) athenian woman in the classical period in a matrimonial setting from two perspectives: the historical one, and the theatrical one. The purpose is to observe how the playwritters represent women on stage, what perspectives they offer about the lives of married women and if these correspond to their social reality.
