Los movimientos oculares son desplazamientos de los ojos para conseguir obtener información del mundo exterior. Para obtener la imagen más fiable, se tienen que desplazar conjuntamente y fijar en el mismo punto. Algunas alteraciones del desarrollo visual (factores ambliogénicos), pueden afectar a los movimientos oculares. El objetivo final de este estudio, es el de poder identificar de manera precoz a los niños con problemas ambliopizantes, en edad preverbal, mediante tecnología eye tracker, para remitir cuanto antes y poder garantizar el correcto desarrollo visual. En este trabajo, se va a realizar un estudio piloto inicial en adultos sin corrección, para identificar las variables principales.
Ocular movement is the displacement of the eyes in order to gather information from the outside world. To obtain the most reliable image possible, both eyes need to move together and fix on the same point. Some alterations in visual development (amblyogenic factors) can affect eye movement. The aim of this study is to be able to identify early, children in preverbal age with amblyopian problems, through eye tracker technology, to guarantee a correct visual development. In this dissertation, an initial pilot study will be carried out in adults without correction so as to identify the main variables.
