Empatía histórica en Educación Primaria. Un acercamiento a la multiculturalidad de la España medieval

Abstract

Mediante el uso de uno de los elementos del pensamiento histórico, la empatía histórica, se realiza una propuesta didáctica para 5º de Educación Primaria, que tiene como objetivo trabajar los contenidos históricos con un enfoque multiperspectiva que favorezca la integración educativa del alumnado inmigrante de cultura islámica. Para ello se diseñan situaciones de aprendizaje sobre nuestro pasado medieval donde confluyen y se interrelacionan la cultura cristiana y la cultura musulmana de la época. Se pretende que el alumnado alcance un conocimiento básico de ambas culturas, entendiéndose como señas de identidad de nuestro pasado y percibiendo su influencia e importancia en el presente. Para ello, el alumnado deberá tomar perspectiva histórica, desvinculándose de su presente y entendiendo la pluralidad de las formas de vida medieval en nuestro territorio.

Through the use of one of the elements of historical thought, historical empathy, a didactic proposal is made for the 5th year of Primary Education, which aims to work on historical content with a multi-perspective approach that favours the educational integration of immigrant students of Islamic culture. To this end, learning situations about our medieval past are designed where Christian culture and Muslim culture of the time converge and interrelate. It is intended that students achieve a basic knowledge of both cultures, understanding themselves as hallmarks of our past and perceiving their influence and importance in the present. For this, the students must take a historical perspective, disassociating themselves from their present and understanding the plurality of forms of medieval life in our territory.
