Estudio sobre la autoestima en menores con padres divorciados

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se realiza una investigación de como el divorcio puede afectar a la autoestima de los menores y se profundiza en este tema. El objetivo principal que persigue esta investigación es conocer el cambio social que puede suponer el daño en la autoestima de un menor, y como el menor puede reproducir los comportamientos que ha normalizado a lo largo de su vida, sobre todo de su infancia. Se profundiza en este tema, en primer lugar, a través de una revisión bibliográfica de diferentes autores que tratan el desarrollo de los menores, y, después, a través la técnica cualitativa de entrevistas semiestructurada que se ha realizado a diversos profesionales que trabajan con este perfil de niños y niñas. Es importante destacar, que, en los últimos 10 años, según el INE (2023), se han producido 987.417 divorcios en España, los divorcios están aumentando en nuestra sociedad y este fenómeno supone un hecho estresante para todos los miembros de la familia, incluyendo a los más pequeños. Debido a esto surge la necesidad de realizar esta investigación.

This paper investigates how divorce can affect the self-esteem of minors and explores this topic in depth. The main objective of this research is to know the social change that can damage the self-esteem of a minor, and how the minor can reproduce the behaviors that have been normalized throughout his life, especially in his childhood. This topic is explored in depth, firstly, through a bibliographic review of different authors who deal with the development of children, and then through the qualitative technique of semi-structured interviews conducted with various professionals who work with this profile of children. It is important to note that, in the last 10 years, according to the INE (2023), there have been 987,417 divorces in Spain, divorces are increasing in our society and this phenomenon is a stressful event for all members of the family, including the youngest. Because of this, the need for this research arises.
